From June 23 to 25, Novature held its first in-person board meeting with the full executive team. And we did it in style: part of the program took place on the beach at Parnassia, and part in the heart of Haarlem. An inspiring setting for meaningful conversations on strategy, leadership, and the future of AI.

The three-day offsite kicked off with substance: sessions on our AI approach, M&A strategy, leadership development, and a shared sense of direction within Novature. At Parnassia by the sea, we opened the day with a key question: Where do we stand now? That question sparked valuable dialogue, reflection, and forward thinking.

From AI Vision to Real-World Impact

AI was clearly at the top of the agenda. We dove into both opportunities and challenges:

  • How can we implement AI in ways that truly work across our companies?
  • What does it mean for our people, clients, and partners?
  • And how do we stay in control without slowing down innovation?

The parallels with the cloud transition 15 years ago are striking, but AI goes even deeper. Ethics, data security, leadership, change readiness, it touches everything. That’s why we’re continuing to invest in an AI Center of Excellence: a space where expertise, tools, and people development come together. Think Copilot programs, learning journeys, and tailored adoption tracks.

Strategy, ambition and dialogue with Quadrum Capital

A key part of the program was our strategic dialogue with our investor Quadrum Capital. We had open conversations about the direction for the coming years. There was a shared sense of pride in what’s already been built and energy for what’s next.

More than just business

There was plenty of room for connection, too. We kicked things off with a dinner in Haarlem, biked to the beach, enjoyed drinks and ‘bitterballen’ with a view of the dunes, and wrapped up over the dinner. Between sessions, there was time for reflection, storytelling, and laughter. We’re building something special together!

We came together to set direction. And we did just that. The future is AI-shaped. And we choose to shape it consciously, passionately, and together with all our brands.
